Honestly there was a time in the early 90’s when the Bat-books underwent a mini golden age when it came to covers. For example: Michael Golden on Detective. At the time my exposure to Golden’s work was limited. I didn’t even know him by name although I’ve already seen quite a bit of his art without knowing who the artist was.
